The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doestevsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vader manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Vader lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Doestevsky backwards.
Doestevsky using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Vader has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Vader tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Doestevsky just stands there and leans against the cage.

Vader is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Doestevsky can't fight it off and eventually Vader manages to take the fight to the floor. Doestevsky looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Doestevsky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vader has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Doestevsky has managed to get both his arms back between Vader's legs - danger averted.
Doestevsky slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Doestevsky swings around for an armbar but Vader sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Doestevsky's guard.
Vader wants to control from the top but Doestevsky keeps moving.

Vader has gone for a leg lock! Doestevsky slips out almost immediately though and dives into Vader's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Vader had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Doestevsky defends it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doestevsky wants to pass the guard but Vader is keeping the position.

Vader is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Doestevsky defends well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Vader escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doestevsky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Vader isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Doestevsky stacks Vader on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Doestevsky!

Doestevsky has an Americana. Vader didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Doestevsky is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Doestevsky hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Overeem is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Zuma looking for a triangle here. Overeem is fighting it but it looks tight! Zuma pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Overeem is tapping out - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrimp works Pena Milani's body with a nice hook.
Crunch! Pena Milani slams his shin into Shrimp's torso.
Shrimp throws a jab when Pena Milani was well out of range.

Pena Milani darts in and clinches Shrimp up against the cage.

Shrimp manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Nice uppercut lands for Magnifico. That snapped Mcgarry's head back.
Magnifico moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Magnifico connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Mcgarry tumbling to the canvas! Magnifico pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mcgarry was done - good stoppage!
