Goliath looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Grohl seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Goliath for as long as he can get away with.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brascoe stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson.

Johnson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Brascoe to the ground. Johnson is now in Brascoe's guard.

Brascoe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brascoe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Brascoe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brascoe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brascoe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brascoe is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Brascoe is looking to sinch up a triangle. Johnson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Brascoe's body to avoid the submission. Brascoe has instead reached around Johnson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Brascoe arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Berkowitz feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alhangum sprawling to the canvas! Alhangum rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Berkowitz finish him?!

Oh Alhangum is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Berkowitz throws a pinpoint strike between Alhangum's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Alhangum crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Berkowitz scores a great knockout victory!
