The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson slaps away a takedown attempt from Yashigawa, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Anderson has control of Yashigawa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Yashigawa regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Yashigawa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

After initially coming in at 156.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. On his way into the cage it seems that Cu IV has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cu IV seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Spud bounces back off the cage towards Laiola, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Laiola lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Laiola celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
