Wilson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Chael Patrick has been cut.
Patrick shoots in but Wilson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Wilson counters with a crisp one two that drops Patrick! Wilson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Patrick to his feet! Patrick is in big trouble!

and Wilson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Perunovic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ton was well out of range. Poor timing from Perunovic.
Ton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Perunovic stuns Ton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Perunovic thuds a left hand into Ton's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Perunovic cracks Ton with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Perunovic has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ton to stand back up!

It looks like Anton Ton has been cut.
Ton drops his hands momentarily. Perunovic doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ton staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ton doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Malmsteen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Malmsteen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kriztov The Yeti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iury Sinistrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Yeti kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Duran Duran- Eye of the tiger. Sinistrov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rock you like a hurricane. Iury Sinistrov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
