The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai Shek lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kai Shek throws a head kick but Loid moves out of range.
Kai Shek throws a shot to the body.
Loid throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kai Shek's waist but Kai Shek gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Loid off to one side.

DeFrank throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Saitou lands a glancing blow to the side of DeFrank's head.
DeFrank shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Saitou sprawls well. Saitou wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. DeFrank gets slowly back to his feet.

DeFrank takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

DeFrank stumbles back but Saitou runs in with a huge uppercut knocking DeFrank to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if DeFrank will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Macconi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gail looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferguson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Danielssons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Ferguson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Kim takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kim crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Matsumoto - the referee stops the clock and Kim gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Matsumoto. Kim manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kim throws a low kick but Matsumoto avoids it.
Kim looks for the body kick but Matsumoto saw that one coming.
Matsumoto lands a head shot.

Kim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Matsumoto sprawls well. Matsumoto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kim gets slowly back to his feet.

Kim gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Matsumoto gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
