The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith dives in and scores a takedown into Pencil's guard.

Pencil utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Smith throws an elbow that misses. Pencil uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Smith's guard. Nice move by Pencil!

Young is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Schultz is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Schultz flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Young anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Schultz and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Young slips an arm under Schultz chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Young has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Young is squeezing on Schultz like an anaconda would it's prey. Schultz fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gichin Funakoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Nurminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funakoshi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Martial Art Drum Beat. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Pitbull steps into range and cracks Priest with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Priest flops backwards and Pitbull dives into his guard looking to finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pitbull gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Priest is still on wobbly legs! Can Pitbull finish him?
Pitbull checks a leg kick nicely.
Priest fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Priest seems to have recovered his senses.
and Pitbull counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Priest! He's just covering up as Pitbull starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
