Turk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Turk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hearts is on top in guard.
Turk is looking to stand up but Hearts isn't so interested in that idea.
Hearts is standing up over Turk. Turk looks to escape but Hearts dives into side control.
Hearts trying to control the action but Turk is working from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hearts throws a strike aimed at the side of Turk's head but Turk avoids it well.
Sloppy strikes there by Hearts.
Hearts wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turk keeps working.
Hearts tries to score with some ground and pound. Turk controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Turk wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Turk is not content to let Hearts control the position.
Hearts misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Turk is pushing Hearts's head away, looking to escape. Hearts manages to hold on to the position though.

That has opened up Johnny Turk's cut even more.
Turk managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hearts.
Turk regains half guard, as Hearts was trying to land strikes.
Hearts thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hearts throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that A J Hearts will probably get the nod.

The cut above Johnny Turk's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hearts fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Turk has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hearts fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hearts drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Johnny Turk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Hearts ducks under a wild hook from Turk.
Hearts swings away with a body shot that misses
and Turk counters with a nice leg kick.
Hearts avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Turk might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Turk connects with a leg kick. Hearts looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Turk blocks a low kick nicely.

Turk throws a front kick aimed at Hearts's knee but Hearts avoids it well.
Hearts tries to close the distance and clinch but Turk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hearts pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Hearts lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Turk or not.
Hearts struggles to land a body shot inside as Turk controls his hands.
Turk prevents a body shot from Hearts.
A right handed body shot lands from Hearts.

Hearts can't get the takedown.
Turk is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Hearts scores with a nice hook to the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnny Turk's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
