McTavish fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yulaev manages to avoid it.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bom.

Bom throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sonnen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bom is in Sonnen 's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bom is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sonnen is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sonnen flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bom anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sonnen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bom slips an arm under Sonnen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bom has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bom is squeezing on Sonnen like an anaconda would it's prey. Sonnen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Nick Diaz made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I think smoking pot is good for mixed martial artists. It’s a new day and age, this is, uh, the year … Fuck year is it? I don’t know, because I’ve been training and smoking pot like I should, instead of paying attention to other bullshit, which I don’t do.'.
