The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St Pierre has managed to clinch.
Ding crunches a lovely knee into St Pierre's ribcage.

Ding gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Ding sitting in guard here, content to control.
Ding will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ding with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Ding decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ding drives through and clinches with St Pierre against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Kyle Gunn will probably get the nod.

Spar closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Gunn out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Main event

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Tatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook comes into the arena with Cormega - built for this blaring out of the sound system. Tatov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Soundgarden - Superunknown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tatov has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!
