Schiller is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mad World. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Commio throws a nice looking combination but Boyd bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boyd looks to land a combination. Commio sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Boyd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Boyd shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Commio is trying to defend but Boyd finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Boyd has control of Commio's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Commio regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Boyd is landing with some decent strikes but Commio is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Commio is working to get back to half guard.
Commio tries to buck Boyd off but he can't manage it.

Ricci Boyd overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Commio's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Boyd lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Commio is rocked!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boyd has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Commio's face.
BOOM! Boyd connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sivan works Boyka's body with a nice hook.
Boyka looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Boyka gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Boyka tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Sivan is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Boyka buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Boyka!! Boyka is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Sivan throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Sivan!
In his post fight interview, John Sivan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lashley stalks Cade and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cade's face. Cade staggers backwards, shaken.
Cade looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Lashley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Lashley drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Lashley as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Cade screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Lashley! Nice submission victory there!

Weston rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Velazquez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Weston closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Weston switches off momentarily and Velazquez cracks him with a monster right hand! Weston topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Velazquez dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Velazquez!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kain Velazquez!
Kain Velazquez is the new light heavyweight champion!
