The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Frost.
Frost lands with a hook. Reynolds tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Freddy Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reynolds shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Frost is trying to defend but Reynolds finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Daniels shoots in looking for a takedown. Romine tries to sprawl out of it but Daniels keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Romine manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
