The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
o Neill throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
o Neill throws a body kick that misses.
o Neill misses with a straight left.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Bosco o Neill has been cut.
o Neill fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones swings for the body but o Neill moves out of range.

Jones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Bosco o Neill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bosco o Neill's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jones smacks o Neill right on the bridge of the nose with a massive elbow! Another one lands and o Neill goes down! He's clearly dazed - will he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7... up to one knee... 8,9,10! He's not made it! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Elbows). James Jones! James Jones retains his middleweight title!
In his post fight interview, James Jones started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
