The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crimson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lewis as he jumps to the side.
Lewis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crimson can pounce on him.
Lewis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crimson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lewis avoids it really well and circles away.
Crimson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lewis as he avoids it easily.
John Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Crimson.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lewis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lewis misses with a straight right.
Lewis misses with an uppercut. Crimson saw that one coming.
Crimson dives in and grabs Lewis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lewis pushes down on Crimson's head and hops out.
Lewis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Lewis tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Crimson cranks the arm and Lewis screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lewis, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Teller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Teller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Teller has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Phrisbee OReiley will probably get the nod.
