The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nijem checks a low kick from Fesenko.

Hick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cartnell tries to avoid it but Hick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cartnell to the ground. Cartnell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cartnell throws a left that rocks Hick and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cartnell dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Hick regain composure!

Cartnell cracks Hick with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Cartnell immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hick is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Cartnell!
