The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mac.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Mac sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Silva lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mac will feel that in the morning.
Mac shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Zane Pinwan had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zane Pinwan.
