The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li leaves Taylor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Li paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Taylor clinches up against the cage.
Taylor drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Li gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Taylor is trying to break the clinch but Li has him pressed against the cage.
Li is trying to break free.

Li has hold of one of Taylor's legs. Taylor is fighting the takedown attempt but Li gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Li is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Li wanted to stand there but Taylor had control of the position.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Li. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Art Vandelay will probably get the nod.

D swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hioki counters with a nice body shot.
D pulls out of a head kick attempt.
D shoots in but no luck this time.
D throws a right hand that Hioki ducks under and follows up with a left that Hioki also avoids with ease.
Hioki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around D's waist but D gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hioki off to one side.
Hioki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as D sprawls well. D wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hioki gets slowly back to his feet.
Hioki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by D.

Hioki has hold of D's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! D tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hioki cranks the arm and D screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from D, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

I think Copeland might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Avenged Sevenfold-Beast and the Harlot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
