The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rory feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Durant's calf.
Durant shoots in looking for a takedown. Rory tries to sprawl out of it but Durant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Rory manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rory swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Durant counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rory!
Rory tries to buck Durant off but he can't manage it.
Durant wants to control the pace but Rory is squirming around nicely.

Durant is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Rory is forced to tap! Great finish!

Lani is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kier is standing up over Lani. Lani looks to escape but Kier dives into side control.

Kier has hold of Lani's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lani tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kier cranks the arm and Lani screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lani, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Pitbull is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Burton has escaped the position, nice work there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burton is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Pitbull has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Pitbull has an Americana. Burton didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Pitbull is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Pitbull hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Cortez throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hawkin is trying to buck Cortez off.
Hawkin dodges the ground and pound from Cortez.

Cortez decides to stand back up.
Cortez connects with a nice cross there... Hawkin is looking wobbly and Cortez recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hawkin to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Cortez jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!

Master drops back looking for a leg! Stevenson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stevenson manages to kick Master off! Master jumps back into Stevenson's guard.

Stevenson is looking for a triangle but Master pushes his legs off easily.
Stevenson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Stevenson controls Master momentarily but Master frees himself.

Stevenson has his foot on Master's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Master works his way back into a safe position though.

Master thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Master is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Stevenson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Master gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Master thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Stevenson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Master has his hands clasped together but Stevenson extends an breaks Master's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Stevenson.

Rivera stumbles back but Blackmon runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Rivera to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Rivera will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Yackey turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Yackey manages to end up in side control.

Yackey looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Yackey is trying to control the action in half guard but Knight is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
