The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maynard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
OFallon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
OFallon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Maynard.
Maynard is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Maynard trying to move into half guard but instead OFallon has managed to sweep!

OFallon gets to his feet - Maynard follows without any prompting.
OFallon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maynard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maynard tries to close the distance and clinch but OFallon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice shot lands for OFallon.
OFallon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and OFallon duly obliges.

Maynard shoots in looking for a takedown. OFallon tries to sprawl out of it but Maynard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. OFallon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
OFallon keeps the fight on the outside.

OFallon lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Maynard can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from OFallon and Maynard drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by OFallon.

Balboa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silversun's waist but Silversun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Balboa off to one side.
Balboa tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Balboa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silversun circles away from the clinch attempt
and Silversun counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Balboa wants to clinch but Silversun slips to the side
and Silversun cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Silversun darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Silversun lands a jab to the head.

Silversun throws a poor cross that misses
and Balboa counters with a right hand to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

enabling Balboa to counter with a crisp jab.

Silversun throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Silversun counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Silversun counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Sebastian Silversun decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

A looping hook to the body misses from Thenn. Forbes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Forbes throws a leg kick but Thenn sees it coming and moves out of range.

Thenn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Forbes is trying to escape the mount.
Thenn is landing with some decent strikes but Forbes is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

It looks like Edward Forbes has been cut.
Thenn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Ramanujam feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Price wants to sweep here but Ramanujam controlling him for the moment.
Ramanujam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Price swivels though and keeps the full guard.
