Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.

Rasputin dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rasputin chips away with some ground and pound.
Rasputin's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Rasputin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Rasputin has hold of Jones's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jones tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rasputin cranks the arm and Jones screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jones, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lloyed sprawls well. Lloyed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quim gets slowly back to his feet.

Lloyed darts in and clinches Quim up against the cage.

Quim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quim fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lloyed.
Lloyed pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lloyed thuds his right hand into Quim's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Quim tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lloyed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Quim somewhat.
Josh Lloyed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Quim.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lloyed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Quim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lloyed swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jimmy Quim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Lloyed's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lloyed refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lloyed's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bresner can do anything to dispel that myth.
