The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodalgo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sakuraba is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rodalgo wants to control the pace but Sakuraba is squirming around nicely.
Sakuraba is desperately trying to improve his position but Rodalgo has a good base and remains in mount.

Rodalgo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sakuraba has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sakuraba!

David lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

David scores with a jab. Peterson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
David clobbers Peterson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

David looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
David swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
David fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peterson manages to avoid it.
An inside leg kick from David misses.
Peterson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A combination from Peterson does no damage.

and Peterson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

David avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Peterson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
David ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Peterson moves away.
David takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

David throws a wild body kick that Peterson sees coming a mile off.

and David counters with a stiff right hand.
David attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

and Peterson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

David will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
David rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peterson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Peterson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
David gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Peterson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
David pivots, looking for a leg kick but Peterson is out of range and David settles back down.
David on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Peterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Larry David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Larry David will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Green slaps away a takedown attempt from Danzeg, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Green pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Green throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Green misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Green throws a head kick but Danzeg moves out of range.

It looks like Kris Bossworth has been cut.
Bossworth dives in and grabs Yuskevich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yuskevich pushes down on Bossworth's head and hops out.
Yuskevich lands a nice shot to the body.
Bossworth is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yuskevich has taken the fight to the clinch.

Yuskevich breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Yuskevich has cracked Bossworth with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Yuskevich lands another huge swinging hook and Bossworth tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Bossworth, before Yuskevich can land any more shots!

Rak feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
