The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

van Bruggen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Conway wants to sweep but no luck.
van Bruggen postures up in Conway's guard and throws a big left but Conway blocks it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I think Fritz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - Enter Sandman . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Fritz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Romo stacks Fritz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Romo!
