I think Burrows might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sweet Child 'O Mine. Mael is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jos Ricci can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Mael has hold of Jos Ricci's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jos Ricci manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mael is looking for the choke from the back position but Jos Ricci is controlling his hands well.

Mael is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jos Ricci knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jos Ricci for a finish.
Mael is trying to stick to Jos Ricci's back but Jos Ricci is turning into Mael. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mael's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jos Ricci.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Let's hope that Jos Ricci has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alan Mael.
