Hayfore pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hayfore looks for the body kick but Bastiat saw that one coming.

Bastiat drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bastiat drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hayfore dives on top into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bastiat drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hayfore manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bastiat has Hayfore in his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bastiat has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hayfore is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bastiat.

Bastiat is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hayfore defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hayfore enables Bastiat to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hayfore manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Bastiat drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hayfore looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hayfore looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hayfore!

Groove throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sar.
Groove throws a lazy right hand but Sar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Groove takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sar dodges the punch combination from Groove.

Groove throws a series of punches but Sar avoids them all with ease.
Groove throws a series of strikes that have Sar backpedaling.

It looks like Salath Sar has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Groove shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Groove trying to control the position from guard on top but Sar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Sar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Groove gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Groove doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sar is tightening it up a little... Groove has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Groove reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Groove taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sar!

Angero shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Minoza manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Minoza manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Angero has closed the distance and engaged Minoza in a clinch.
Minoza tries to circle away but Angero has him pinned against the cage.
Minoza wants to break free but Angero has control.
A nice right hand lands inside from Angero.

Angero is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Minoza is just riding it out for now. Angero eventually gives up the hold.

Assange walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lochte drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Assange swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lochte's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Sixteen lands with a kick to the temple. Jonghyun shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dinomat Man.
