The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime throws a sloppy head kick

and Cadell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Prime won't be happy with that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Cadell tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk scores with a nice head shot.
Hall misses with a series of wild punches.
Turk throws a hook to the side of Hall's head but Hall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A big left from Turk misses.
Hall goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Turk tried to score with a low kick but Hall checks it.

Hall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hall goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Turk turns into him and now he's in Hall's guard.

and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hall takes a swing at Turk's ribcage but misses.
Turk keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Turk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A head kick from Hall lands but Turk takes it in his stride.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Turk scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Hall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Turk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Hall tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Turk throws a good cross that connects.

Hall tries to sprawl but Turk drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Turk.
Hall is not content to let Turk control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall trying to hold on to Turk's head to control him but Turk postures up.
Hall might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Turk kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Hall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Turk is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Hall wants to sweep here but Turk controlling him for the moment.
Turk throws a big right hand that misses.
Turk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Turk looking to sit in guard and control but Hall gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Turk is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Turk throws a lazy right hand but Hall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hall throws a head kick that Turk semi-blocks.
Hall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Turk was well out of range. Poor timing from Hall.

Turk takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Hall closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Hall avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Oh Turk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hall connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hall cracks Turk with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Turk falls to his knees and Hall doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Don Hall thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
