Ribeiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Banks tries to sprawl out of it but Ribeiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Banks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ribeiro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Banks's waist but Banks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ribeiro off to one side.
Scott Banks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelo Ribeiro.

Banks has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ribeiro is really squeezing tight and eventually Banks passes out! Ribeiro breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
