Jimara kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Killing in the name. . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

I think Juntunen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lumessakahlaajat. Tomi Juntunen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harri Mulqvist!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juntunen punishes Mulqvist's body with a nice straight punch.
Mulqvist scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Good work by Mulqvist as he checks the leg kick.
A low kick from Juntunen is predictable there
and Mulqvist makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Mulqvist throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Mulqvist lets loose with a powerful body kick. Juntunen will feel that in the morning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mulqvist shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Juntunen eats them both and turns towards Mulqvist to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Juntunen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mulqvist connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Juntunen scrambles back to his feet.

Juntunen is looking to break free of the clinch but Mulqvist has double underhooks.

Mulqvist goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Mulqvist gets through Juntunen's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Juntunen is pressed up against the cage. Mulqvist has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Juntunen down to the mat. Juntunen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mulqvist has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Juntunen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mulqvist, as that shot connected.
Juntunen misses with a few strikes there.
Juntunen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Juntunen moves out of range as Mulqvist throws a body kick.
Mulqvist scores with a kick to the midsection.
Juntunen misses with a leg kick.
Juntunen will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Mulqvist closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Juntunen did well to prevent Mulqvist getting side control.

Mulqvist has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Juntunen defend it? Mulqvist steps over the head and cranks it - Juntunen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mulqvist!
