Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Sekyere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ferguson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Flo Rida- 54321. Sekyere has chosen Clique as his entrance music. Alex Sekyere told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sekyere tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sekyere shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ferguson as he avoids it easily.

and Ferguson counters with a series of strikes. Sekyere will be more careful next time no doubt.
Jake Ferguson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Sekyere.
Sekyere throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ferguson's waist but Ferguson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sekyere off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sekyere sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ferguson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sekyere circles away quickly and effectively.
Ferguson Rushes Sekyere and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Sekyere is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Ferguson Piles on the pressure and Sekyere crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
