Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lex Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Najman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Najman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Najman, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Najman against the cage but Najman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Najman swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lex Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Najman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Najman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Lee has one arm under Najman 's neck. Najman is controlling the other arm well. He's just looking to survive right now. Lee manages to get his arm free though and Najman is in a world of trouble! Lee sinks in the hooks and squeezes! Najman turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lex Lee!
Lex Lee tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lilo wants to stand but Thomas is controlling the position.
Thomas drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Thomas as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lilo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Thomas! Nice submission victory there!

A less than humble Paul Thomas misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
