Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Soldati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker has chosen Sweet Child o Mine as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kendall Parker!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Soldati moves into the clinch.
Parker jumps guard but Soldati turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Soldati's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Parker fails with the takedown

and Soldati counters with a single leg into guard. Parker didn't expect that.
Luiz Soldati has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kendall Parker.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Soldati stays in close to Parker's body and controls the position.

Parker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Soldati defends well.

Parker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Soldati doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Soldati manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Soldati is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Parker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Soldati stays in close to Parker's body and controls the position.

Soldati stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Parker has his foot on Soldati's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Soldati works his way back into a safe position though.

Parker is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Soldati drops back looking for a leg! Parker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parker manages to kick Soldati off! Soldati jumps back into Parker's guard.
Soldati trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Soldati is looking to stand up but Parker won't let him.
Soldati knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parker on the ground.
Soldati is breathing heavily.

Parker has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Soldati should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Parker has tightened it up now! Soldati should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
