Chaos connects with a solid leg kick.
Chaos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Piper was well out of range. Poor timing from Chaos.

Chaos shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Piper eats them both and turns towards Chaos to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Piper uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chaos.
Chaos tries to clinch up but Piper circles away and keeps his distance.
Chaos missing with a left hand there. Piper was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Piper fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chaos has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A nice inside leg kick there by Piper. That's going to slow Chaos down.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
Piper has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chaos.
The crowd cheers as Chaos lands an impressive looking overhand right. Piper doesn't seem phased though.

Chaos looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Chaos cracks Piper with a good jab.
Piper lands an overhand right.
Chaos steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Piper. That one must have hurt.
Piper ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Chaos throws a lazy right hand but Piper sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chaos tries a head kick but it misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Piper fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Piper thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Piper lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Chaos is squirming around, avoiding Piper's attempts to control the action.
Piper misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Piper is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Chaos has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Chaos!
Piper is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Piper passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Chaos!
