enabling Jammy to counter with a crisp jab.

Jammy has closed the distance and engaged Fedex in a clinch.
Fedex trying to control the position but instead, Jammy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Fedex into the cage.

Fedex turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fedex manages to end up in side control.

Fedex swings around for an armbar but Jammy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fedex's guard.
