It looks like Rau Utu has been cut.
Polo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Utu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Polo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Utu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Utu feints and then cracks Polo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Polo down.
Utu tests Polo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Marco Polo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Utu lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Polo head around and knocks him out cold! Utu hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rau Utu!
After the fight, Rau Utu was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

McStar shoots in looking for a takedown but Hoy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McStar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
