The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton shoots in for a double leg but Sobchak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Burton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Burton stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sobchak .

Sobchak has Burton up against the ropes in a clinch.
Sobchak has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Burton is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

It looks like Fred Burton has been cut.

The referee is keeping an eye on Sobchak - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

On his way into the ring it seems that Jp Benn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jp Benn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Benn shoots in looking for a takedown. Davison tries to sprawl out of it but Benn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Davison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Davison drops Benevides with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Benevides looks back up at him and smiles so Davison waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The fight stays on the outside here - Benevides looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Davison leaves Benevides with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
