The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar throws a low kick but Farseer moves out of range easily.
Farseer looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Farseer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Spar doesn't seem bothered though.
Farseer lands with a cross.
Farseer lands with a straight right. Spar didn't see that one coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Farseer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie missing with a left hand there. Thomas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Thomas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thomas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gracie throws a hook but Thomas blocks it.
Vitor Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Thomas is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Thomas is defending well.

Gracie has hold of Thomas's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Thomas manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Thomas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rasp feints and as Hart raises his hands in defense, Rasp changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rasp trying to control but Hart is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rasp stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hart swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hart looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hart is looking for a triangle but Rasp pushes his legs off easily.

Rasp drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rasp jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
