The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spades fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Spades swings for the body but Weeonu moves out of range.

Spades throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Weeonu tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Spades is in Weeonu's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Weeonu can do anything to dispel that myth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Spades throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Weeonu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Weeonu thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Spades slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Weeonu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spades. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kau has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pep avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bomber fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McDiggler sprawls well initially but Bomber persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bomber is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bomber got a little sloppy there for a moment and McDiggler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bomber has managed to get both his arms back between McDiggler's legs - danger averted.
Bomber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McDiggler looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bomber has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think McDiggler should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bomber has tightened it up now! McDiggler should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
