Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eikichi Onizuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drako Vonstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vonstein has chosen AC/DC Thunderstruck (techno) as his entrance music. Drako Vonstein told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onizuka scores with a shot to the body.
Onizuka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vonstein shoots in looking for a takedown but Onizuka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vonstein's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vonstein looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Vonstein shoots in for a takedown but Onizuka shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eikichi Onizuka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drako Vonstein.
Onizuka moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Onizuka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vonstein pinned against the cage. Vonstein gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vonstein shoots for a takedown but Onizuka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
