Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mohammad Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trovador Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malik comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Monster fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Overeem on the side of the head.

Overeem throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Monster blocks it with crossed arms.

Overeem is looking to control Monster's arms but Monster gets an underhook and turns him. Now Overeem has his back to the cage.
Monster lands a good knee to the midsection. Overeem won't want to take too many of those.

Monster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Monster cracks Overeem with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Monster has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Overeem to stand back up!

Alistair Overeem 's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Overeem gets tackled into the cage by Monster. Monster maintains the clinch.
Oh Overeem is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Monster avoids a wild elbow strike from Overeem .

Overeem seems to have got his legs back now.
Monster stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Monster lands a nice knee to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Monster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Monster flashes Overeem a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Overeem 's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Overeem crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Monster punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

It looks like Jake Shields has been cut.
Shields tries to stall but Choake uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Choake wants the takedown. Shields is fighting it off but Choake persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Shields's guard against the cage.

Choake got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shields has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Choake has managed to get both his arms back between Shields's legs - danger averted.
