Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but VandammeChuck swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Smith drops his hands momentarily and VandammeChuck takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smith closes the distance but VandammeChuck moves to the side
and VandammeChuck counters with a nice uppercut.
VandammeChuck lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Smith takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
VandammeChuck takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Selassie I uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Selassie I scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Black doesn't seem bothered though.

Black shoots for a double leg takedown but Selassie I sprawls well. He's pushed Black's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pete Wentz.
