The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels cracks the inside of Harris's front leg.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stien loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Tarzan scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Stien land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Stien stands and salutes the crowd.

Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Kawashima manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hunter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kawashima pinned against the cage. Kawashima gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hunter dives in and grabs Kawashima's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kawashima pushes down on Hunter's head and hops out.
Eiji Kawashima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Hunter.
