The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dren looks to land a combination but Massimo avoids it well.

Massimo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dren looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Massimo prevents Dren from escaping the position.

Massimo is working to tighten is grip on Dren's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dren has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Massimo is really squeezing tight and eventually Dren passes out! Massimo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Crouch lands a left and a right that send Jackson crashing to the mat, dazed. Crouch thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Clyde Jackson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson misses with an uppercut.
Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crouch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat.
Jackson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Crouch. That one must have hurt.
A head kick by Crouch - that's a beauty! Jackson is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Crouch can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
