Stirling scores with a one two! Sly had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Sly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stirling's guard.

Stirling unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Sly! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Stirling is unloading with more strikes now! Sly drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suhonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McCaned moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McCaned checks a leg kick.
McCaned fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nice straight punches there by McCaned. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McCaned.
Suhonen throws a shot from downtown. McCaned moves away and avoids it.
Suhonen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Suhonen.
McCaned takes a swing at Suhonen's ribcage but misses.
Suhonen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCaned was well out of range. Poor timing from Suhonen.
McCaned displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Suhonen throws out the jab.

and McCaned counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCaned sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

McCaned uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Suhonen has time to react.
McCaned slips a straight right by Suhonen.
McCaned defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Suhonen.
Suhonen throws a leg kick
and McCaned counters with a nice body shot.
McCaned leaves Suhonen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alpo Suhonen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McCaned moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McCaned lands a nice looking body shot.
Suhonen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Suhonen tries to move into range but McCaned moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
McCaned throws a leg kick which misses Suhonen's front leg but catches the back leg as Suhonen tries to avoid it.
McCaned connects with a body shot.
McCaned scores with a jab.
McCaned lands with a shot to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from McCaned, right into the meat.
McCaned moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

McCaned digs a good hook to Suhonen's body.
McCaned lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McCaned dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Suhonen. That did some damage!
Suhonen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCaned jabs Suhonen to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McCaned lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Suhonen is looking to close the distance but McCaned sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Suhonen crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Suhonen is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
