Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Omar Abidi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Comin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Raul Comin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abidi tries to bum rush Comin with a series of wild strikes but Comin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Comin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abidi tries to avoid it but Comin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abidi to the ground. Abidi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Strikes's waist but Strikes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.

Strikes lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Strikes takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gracie is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strikes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gracie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Strikes - the referee stops the clock and Gracie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Strikes. Gracie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Strikes flashes Gracie a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Gracie's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Gracie crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Strikes punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Horrible takedown by Rex or perhaps it was just good defense by Taylor which made him look bad.
Rex shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Taylor pinned against the cage. Taylor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
