Murphy tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Damage counters with a slapping leg kick.

Damage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevens feints and as Shifter raises his hands in defense, Stevens changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Shifter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stevens looking to pass the guard.
Shifter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stevens on the ground.

Stevens avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

You can see the frustration on Jambo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jimmy Jambo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Jambo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Jambo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Revenge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Person has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Revenge has managed to get both his arms back between Person's legs - danger averted.

Person working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Revenge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Revenge manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Walker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ataxia digs a good hook to Walker's body.
Walker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ataxia but Ataxia pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ataxia ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Walker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ataxia is fending him off so far but Walker persists. Nope, Ataxia circles away and we're back to standing.

Walker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Walker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
