The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laf fails in his attempt to clinch.
Laf throws a head kick but Pantera moves out of range.
Pantera avoids the head kick by Laf.
Pantera swats away the attempt to clinch by Laf.
A slapping body kick lands there for Laf.
Laf throws a sloppy head kick and Pantera moves out of range easily.
Laf scores with a head kick.

Pantera closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Laf to the mat! Laf manages to get full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pantera drops back looking for a leg! Laf is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Laf manages to kick Pantera off! Pantera jumps back into Laf's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pantera thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Oh Pantera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Pancho Pantera has been cut.

Pantera feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
