The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hansen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Haworang - the referee stops the clock and Hansen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Haworang. Hansen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Haworang misses with a head kick.

Hansen rushes Haworang and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hansen lands a body shot.
Haworang looking to throw knees to the head but Hansen is blocking nicely.

Hansen turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Hansen is stalling here. Haworang is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hansen seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Haworang has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wong piles on the pressure with more strikes! Filipovic is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richardson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Richardson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Richardson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Doerner regains full guard. Nicely done.
Doerner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Richardson manages to get himself to full guard.
Richardson can't keep his opponent in guard - Doerner advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Doerner tries to pass the half guard into mount. Richardson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Doerner is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Doerner is looking for a kimura but Richardson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Doerner to get the leverage.
Richardson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Richardson cracks Doerner with a solid left hand.
Richardson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Richardson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Doerner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Richardson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Richardson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Doerner has his foot on Richardson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Richardson works his way back into a safe position though.

Richardson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Richardson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Richardson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Richardson is landing with some decent strikes but Doerner is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Richardson lands a big elbow.
Richardson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Doerner looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Doerner drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Richardson is trying to get back to half guard.
Richardson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Doerner looks up at the clock and then as Richardson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Doerner smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Doerner is working to tighten is grip on Richardson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Richardson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Doerner is really squeezing tight and eventually Richardson passes out! Doerner breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

McDiggler wants to control from the top but Jujin keeps moving.
McDiggler passes Jujin's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Jujin is trying to stand up here but McDiggler is controlling him well.

Jujin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McDiggler pulls his head out easily.

McDiggler stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

McDiggler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jujin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McDiggler has managed to get both his arms back between Jujin's legs - danger averted.

McDiggler is working for a submission of some sort.

McDiggler is trying to work for a kimura but Jujin is defending well.

McDiggler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jujin is just riding it out for now. McDiggler eventually gives up the hold.

Destroyer jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Nuts is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Nuts and Destroyer has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Destroyer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nuts has escaped the position, nice work there.

Destroyer goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Nuts rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Destroyer's guard! Nice work there by Nuts!

Nuts has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Destroyer to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Nuts is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Destroyer pulls down on the head and he's put Nuts to sleep! This one is all over!

Kau feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
