The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Stuart Redman has been cut.
Redman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Moon throws a looping overhand right but Redman ducks down to avoid it.
Jab, jab by Moon - just one landing.
Moon keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Moon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Howard Moon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moon misses with an attempted mid kick.

Redman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moon to the mat! Moon manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Redman wants to control from the top but Moon keeps moving.
Redman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Moon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Redman is one step ahead there.
Redman trying to control the position from guard on top but Moon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Stuart Redman wasn't active enough on the ground.
Redman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Moon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Redman.
Howard Moon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stuart Redman.
A chopping leg kick lands by Moon.
Moon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Redman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moon is fending him off so far but Redman persists. Nope, Moon circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Redman. That did some damage!

Moon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Moon changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Some wild striking there from Moon.
Redman avoids the head kick by Moon.

Moon catches Redman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Moon throws a body punch but Redman moves out of range.
Redman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moon's waist but Moon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Redman off to one side.
A slapping body kick lands there for Moon.
Moon stuffs the takedown attempt from Redman. Redman gets slowly back to his feet.
Moon scores with the left hand. Redman knows he should have avoided that one.

That has opened up Stuart Redman's cut even more.
Moon clobbers Redman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A punch lands to the side of Redman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Moon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Redman on the side of the head.

The cut above Stuart Redman's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Moon lands a big head kick that sends Redman tumbling to the mat! Moon takes a step backwards and waves Redman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Redman is rocked!
Moon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Redman is still on wobbly legs! Can Moon finish him?
Moon flashes Redman a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Redman's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Redman crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Moon punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Howard Moon!
