The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Chang misses.
Chang slips a jab and a cross from Champy.
Champy looks to score with a jab to the body but Chang is just out of range.
Chang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chang throws a head kick but Champy moves out of range.

Champy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Champy showed some decent athleticism there.
Champy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Chang looks like he's trying to stand up.
Champy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Chang is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Champy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Champy's back!
Chang is looking to control Champy but Champy is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Champy just trying to survive but Chang is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Champy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Champy tries to roll but Chang sticks to his back.

Chang is trying to stick to Champy's back but Champy is turning into Chang. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Chang's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Champy.

Chang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Champy tries to free his leg and advance position but Chang is retaining full guard.
Chang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Champy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Chang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Champy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Champy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Champy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Champy is working Chang over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Chang has his foot on Champy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Champy works his way back into a safe position though.
Champy distracts Chang with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Chang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Champy defends well.

The Bulldog does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
