Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ralte Bentea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Thielke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ralte Bentea had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jesse Thielke enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Jean Boucher has been cut.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Boucher.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Boucher tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boucher tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boucher has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boucher in side control lands a decent elbow.
Boucher throws a strike aimed at the side of Jones's head but Jones avoids it well.

Boucher working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Boucher tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boucher sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jones is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Boucher has hold of Jones's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jones tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Boucher cranks the arm and Jones screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jones, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
