The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cristi forces Lambert back against the cage and clinches.

Lambert turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lambert manages to end up in side control.

and Halo counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Nukem is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Halo counters with a low kick, right behind Nukem 's knee.

Halo keeping moving, preventing Nukem from controlling successfully.
Nukem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Halo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nukem is sitting in close to Halo's body. Halo has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Nukem is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Nukem is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Halo.
