The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damkovsky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Damkovsky misses with a leg kick
and Li counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Li tries to clinch up but Damkovsky circles away and keeps his distance.
Damkovsky swats away the attempt to clinch by Li.
Li slips a straight right by Damkovsky.
A looping hook to the body misses from Li. Damkovsky does a little dance to reset his feet.

Li moves into the clinch successfully.
Damkovsky has had enough of the clinch but Li keeps him there for the moment.
Damkovsky is trying to break the clinch but Li is controlling him.
Li unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Li lands an elbow just above Damkovsky 's eye.

It looks like Artiom Damkovsky has been cut.
Li lands an elbow inside that Damkovsky shrugs off.

Li keeps control of Damkovsky as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Li is trying to trip Damkovsky. He has hold of a leg but Damkovsky is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Li persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Li sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Damkovsky is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Akylbekov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

He turns his back on Emilianenko, trying to create some distance but Emilianenko rushes him, striking wildly and Tyson Jr Ii goes down! The referee tackles Emilianenko into the ropes to end the fight! Emilianenko is one violent man!

and Nakutin counters with an outside leg kick.

and Nakutin counters with a left and a right that stings Stepp.

and Nakutin counters with a nice uppercut.

Stepp tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nakutin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stepp somewhat.
Nakutin throws a push kick but Stepp slaps the foot to one side.
Nakutin misses with an uppercut. Stepp saw that one coming.
Stepp lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Nakutin gets caught napping as Stepp dives in and scores a takedown. Nakutin manages to retain guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Stepp shoots for a double leg takedown but Nakutin sprawls well. He's pushed Stepp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Steven Stepp has got the better of the ground game so far.
Stepp postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Nakutin badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Stepp around the waist but Stepp pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Stepp is the winner by TKO! Stepp jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Steven Stepp decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Balls has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! On his way into the ring it seems that Ok Ko has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ok Ko seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ko connects with a leg kick. Balls looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Ko lands a big right hand that sends Balls crashing to the mat! Ko stays standing though and waves Balls back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ko scores with a jab to the body.
Balls walks straight into a right hand from Ko - that's dropped him! Ko jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Balls from any more punishment! Balls complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
